Greetings and Namaste’ Dear Ones to my Heart,
The more one realizes whom and what one truly is the less one is affected by the external; for the internal Divine Indweller Reigns Supreme.
(Exercise using blank paper and pencil)
Draw a large circle on a piece of paper and in the middle of that circle draw a small circle. Does the outer circle touch the inner one?
Know the soul / Divine Spiritual Being you are is the same.
One feels that one must experience the muck gunk and mire of this world when in all actuality one is able to transcend a majority of it. This is done by whittling the ego.
Now go back to the drawing and connect the center to the outer with lines knowing that each line is a facet of ego, fear and attachments of a misqualified nature. Draw a line for each time you felt loss, abandonment, and betrayal.
Now realize as one grows spiritually and as one allows a Divine perspective* to take place which brings about proper energy flow: Spiritual to Mental to Emotional to the Physical the erasing of those lines starts to occur until only a sliver remains.
Note: Only a sliver of ego is needed to keep one here in a physical form. All the pain and suffering that occurs here is caused by beings that have more than a sliver and love the ego more than the Divine.
* What is a Divine perspective? Is a Divine Perspective reactionary in a misqualified way? Is a Divine Perspective judgmental instead of Discerning? Is a Divine perspective fear based? Is a Divine Perspective one that perpetuates miscommunication? What is a Divine perspective?
A Divine Perspective sees the calls for help, evaluates from a place of being centrist, then makes a decision while in centrist contemplation, introspects on that decision, then takes action of a God Qualified Nature to be of service. This entails Dominion ship of the Higher Spiritual Body or the True Being we are over the lower bodies we have. Proper energy flow for this is Spiritual to the Mental Body then to the Emotional Body then to the physical body. This is where the training comes into play. The Ego or false synthetic self is attached to the mental-emotional-physical form and does what it can to perpetuate identification with such. This is why non identification with the lower bodies is important to obtain; for the more one identifies with the lower bodies the more one forgets and does not know whom and what they truly are.
If a person does not know whom and what one truly is and thinks they are their mental thoughts – emotional feelings – physical form then how can they truly have a complete Divine Perspective? They cannot. They can have glimpses while working a program of growth. However until one has a real paratma experience whereby they have seen the Divine indweller and are able to commune with such they are still mostly caught up in identifying with the temporal instead of the permanent. If one allows the physical to rule over the emotional one will always be in turmoil. If one allows the emotional to rule over the mental one will always be in turmoil. If one allows the mental to rule over the Spiritual being we truly are one will always be in turmoil. All this is an example of backward energy flow.
Beings that are practicing spirituality and growing who come more and more from a centrist demeanor do not suppress and repress emotions as what a lot of people think. They feel what they need to feel, but do not allow the feelings to control or dictate their actions into a misqualified reactive state, that perpetuates the creation of misqualified energy. They do however stay more and more centrist as they grow spiritually ultimately becoming the eye in life’s hurricane. Know this is not done all at once but in incremental stages which take patience and perseverance.
Lower body identification is where all fear stems from. Spiritual Identification is where all real growth comes from.
I hope these words aid all that read, internalize, and apply them.
Spiritual Practice and Application: Place one or both hands on your heart chakra (center of the breast bone). Take deep diaphragmatic breaths relaxing on the exhale. Now start breathing in counting with a second hand 4 seconds, Then hold 4 seconds, then exhaling 8 seconds, then holding breath for 4 seconds then inhaling 4 seconds… If you find this too difficult then go to 3 – 3 – 6 – 3… eventually as you focus more and more on this, your breath one realizes a calming effect and the release of tensions that one has internalized. The goal is to get you to breathe comfortable 2 breathes a minute which would be a count of 6 – 6 – 12 – 6… After doing this for 10 – 20 minutes a day for several days; increase to 20 – 30 minutes for 21 days. Then let me know how this has helped you.
Forever in service; Love, your Jnandaji
Namaste’
Note: this is an amendment because of a question a student asked.
Greetings and Namaste’, I am so very glad in a centrist way these mailings are of service for you. Here is a great question from one of our spiritual family members. Know these also aid me as a reminder.
I recommend the nose in (because of filtration) and mouth out for the exhale because this type of breathing releases toxins after a while and the sinus membranes will absorb some of them easier. Thank you for the question and reminder. I will send this out as an amendment.
